I have a renewed interest in the C2O framelock, but I've
not been able to find much feedback about it...
How does it compare to Kit Carson's solo work?
My alternative in this price range would be a wood
inlay large Sebenza (which would cost a bit less on
the second-hand market or the large online auction that
begins with the letter 'e').
Thanks for all opinions of the C2O, including blade shape
preference.

don't think there are any more in the market.....(at least for now)...try asking True North Knives. They seem to have the stocks....

I've been carrying the C2O prototype for over a year now. Mine has drop point blade of stellite. That is the package I prefer, as I prefer the corrosion resistance. I am a large guy and tend to sweat quite a bit, and now live on the florida coast.

I love this knife. The ergonomics are very nicely thought out. The model 4 has always been my favorite design in a tactical/utility EDC type folder. The framelock is very well done and the fit and finish is excellent.

You asked about the comparison to Kit's customs... I own the proto C2O and have handled several others. I also own 6 (i think, i lost count lol) other custom folders from Kit. You can not detect any difference at all in the quality between the two. The 3 makers doing the work on these knivers are all very skilled.

These knives are the best value in custom/collaboration folders today. You get the best materials, uncompromised quality, and men that will stand behind their work 100%.

You will not regret this purchase. The knife is amazing, and I am happy to own 1. I wish I had the cash to buy a few more.

Get one, you will not regret it! :D

I've had six and kept four. They are just about the most perfect size for EDC you'll ever find.

I've got one and love it! You have to check around. Phillip in the link above is great to deal with and Bladeart had one at the NY show last weekend.

oh, that stellite false edge version notdos has is awesome....

Thanks for all of your responses.
The knife seems to be pretty scarce right now.
Does anyone know if there will be a limit on numbers,
or if they're still being produced?
