Here's my latest knife. This carving is something I've wanted to do for a while now. It is all hand carved.

Specs:
Forged 80CrV2 blade with selective French patina
3 3/4" blade, 8 1/4" overall, .170" thick at the ricasso w/ full distal taper
Rounded spine and ricasso
Black g-10 collars with raised rounded and coined stainless spacer
American black walnut handle, hand carved with 3D basket weave pattern
Stainless checkered finial screw.

All comments and discussion welcome.

Love this one, buddy. That’s a whole lot of highly detailed work!

I wish I had talent like that...and the time to be able to put it to use haha. That is amazing.

The more I look at the basket weave, the more difficult it looks. Amazing.

Talente, indeed, is the word here.
I usually don't care for randomic patina, but you made very good use of it.
The carving is an spectacle in itself. Congrats for the beautiful package.

An absolutely amazing piece of work ... I can only imagine the hours it took to create ... beautiful work !!!

I'm not going to lie....I like it.... I'm all for it.....probably took you a month, but it is sweet!
