Hey everyone, I had made this hunting knife this year and somehow never got around to posting it. let me know what you think about it. all comments welcome
I went for a scene of a Japanese maple tree housing a few birds that you would normally find living there throughout the seasons. I have just around 80 hours into the carving. boy does flattening, sanding and polishing the background take a ridiculous amount of time. probably more then the actual carving did. stippling the background is soooooo much easier and faster haha.
I also posted this knife up for sale in the knife exchange
cutting edge is 5"
overall 9.5"
mosaic damascus blade with a high chatoyance pattern and finish
handle is antique ivory micarta
mosaic damascus guard
