Didn't know what else to call it. As some of you might already know this is the first knife I sold. It will leave around the middle of the week for it's new home. I will be stressed until I know it arrived. :(

Here are the specs:
Blade length: 5 7/8” OAL: 11”
Grind: Flat
Steel: 1095, clay/hamon
Handle: Desert Ironwood
Fittings: Mild steel (1018)

Glamor Shot.

Of course, critique is always welcomed.

That turned out real nice. I suppose it would fit in the sporting bowie catagory..........a dressed up sporting bowie, or maybe a gentlemans bowie? Reguardless of the name she's a beauty.
Darcy:)

Thanks for the good words, much appreciated. :D

Darcy, I'll run that by the buyer to see if he wants to name it. Thanks.

OK OK... I am the new owner, and Gentleman's bowie fits me perfectly! :D I am Really looking forward to getting my hands on it Patrice.

FYI: I have been bugging Patrice to sell me one of his creations for quite some time, I am pleased he finally gave in. The first of many more transactions in your future Patrice!

Edit: Great Photography as well Patrice!

Very nice work Patrice. Ryan , you are a very lucky man.

Ryan, I hope you like it as much in person. It's going out this afternoon.

A few pics of the sheath. Sorry for the crappy pics but the sheath is just not that great and I felt like this was enough just to give you a general idea.

It looks like a fine job on the sheath... don't sell yourself short.

Nice work Patrice.

Thanks Stuart, nice of you to say. I need at least more dyes to match it to the handle material better.

Glad you like it Stabber, thanks.
