All,

I wanted to share this unique knife that I made for John Kirven.

At his request, I put the blade on this piece of elk horn that John Kirven carved. As per his specifications, I put a mirror polish on my own heat-treated 440-C Stainless. The buttcap and guard are brass. The blade length is 4 7/8" and overall it's about 9 9/16". The tang is hidden, but full and I pinned it at the buttcap. The weight is 8.1 oz.

Moderators- move it if it's not in the right place, you always do.

Very nice!
Your blade compliments the handle and carving wonderfully.

Hi Eddie,

You are rightously proud of your knives and it's obvious they are nicely made. Yes, this IS the right place to show it off. No need for a mod to move it. This is a Custom/Handmade knife by all current definitions. John ordered it specifically.

Thanks for the look. Good clean photos as well.
