Whatever happened to the pics of that carved tarwar ??

I'd love to see them !!

I'd love to see the DC. My son is too big for me to turn over my knee, that is if I could ever get ahold of him. His work schedule, 50 mile distance from me, single parent with 2 teen age boys and my inability to travel with Mom, except to Counselers and Doctors.

Patience is a virtue. Meanwhile am working on polishing handle.

Spent too much on Khukris to buy a DC . My son is giving me one of his two.

Hang in there Brendan. Good things will come, to those who wait.

Yes. It's not a tarwar at all but a katana. Chiruwa style with carved horn handle slabs. Crafted and carved by Bura. $245 less 20% makes it an Uncle Bill best buy.

So Rag's entering the exotics. Good for you. Don't let me sound like a broken record, but that Bura you gave to me beomes more and more valuable as time goes on. Just enough weight for work, not enough for leaving at home. I hope you don't mind the scuff marks I've placed while felling trees.

You deserve an esoteric, one of a kind sword. You are apparently a federal employee we can all be proud of. Everthing you post indictes a less travled road.

My new chiruwa YCSi is sulking in the corner since I started drooling about the what the money I used for that could have bought...

mPisi--don't sweat it! There will always be money, but there will most likely never be more YCS in production. And you got the only one I know of that is a chiruwa form YCS. Care for it, and feed it well.

And if you want to sell oor trade it, let the folks at the Cantina know, because that piece would be the center of many a fine khuk collection.
