Here's my spin on a carving/butcher knife, it turned out pretty nice.

S35V @ 61hrc 11.25" oal, the blade is 7". G-10 on a tapered tang with red spacers.

Very classic, and has some modern steel, the best of both worlds. I also think I have seen a shorter version of this one, correct? Really cool.
 
Wow, that is fine. Nice work. Looks like it would slice through some meat with just the weight of the knife! Heck it may even go through the cutting board!

Thanks cb! I don't make a shorter version of this blade myself but it sounds like a great idea!

Thanks Ric! It's a fine handling and performing knife, I'm going to lengthen the handle by 1/2" though on the next ones.
