Hello everyone!

I am still pretty much out of words, so this first post will be shorter than I would want it to be, but I just had to share with you.

A few days ago, my friend Claudio contacted me and told me that the guys had prepared a surprise gift for me - I could not believe it then and even less so can I believe it now that the knife is in my hands!

Claudio, Ariel and the other members of the Sobral family simply are the greatest of people and I am honoured and happy to be able to call them close friends! Thanks again so much for everything!

As floored as I still am, here are a few very first impressions of my wonderful CAS fighter in my favourite handle material (it's 10,7 inches overall) for now:

I can't tell you how much I enjoy this piece that will always hold a very special place in my collection!

Hope you like it as much as I do!

Best regards.
Alex

That is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! MANY congrats to you on such a wonderful piece and, yes, Claudio is a Gentleman and obviously extraordinarily gifted as a Knifemaker and machinist....

Fantastic knife Alex. What a great family the Sobrals are gifting you that knife. It will be a great addition to your collection. I have just had confirmation my first CAS knife has cleared customs an I will collect it tomorrow along with one from Dave Lisch.

What a great gift! Much respect and admiration goes to the Sobral brothers! Thanks for sharing :)

And this forum continues to restore my faith in humanity

I have to say of all the makers on this site CAS is most certainly on my short list.

those boys are special! Really good dudes :)

Alex, have made great shots! awesome pictures as always !!
Thank you very much for everything my friend, you deserve this and more, after so many favors you have done to us.

A big hug,
Claudio

Thank you very much everyone for the comments!
I must say that the knife is not integral. The knife is full tang with bolster of aisi 420. This rectified and fine riveted, therefore, hardly noticeable, binding of bolster with the blade.
Best Regards,
Claudio

Nonetheless, it is a fine Loveless inspired knife.

I too thought it was an integral.
I picked mine up from the post depot today. It's my first CAS knife and certainly not my last !what a beautifully looking and made knife
