CAS/Hanwei Quality?

I've been looking at the Rock Creek knives that have been recently advertised ... I know they're Chinese sourced and would like to know what the quality is like. I've been interested in the Kudu, which seems like a very nice hunting knife for the price. Thoughts - comments?
 
I own two of their swords and those are top notch. I don't know about their knives though.

Also, their samurai armor is very well built and quite accurate.
 
one of the knife mags had a write up on these new knives and basically the conclusion was that they don't hold the greatest edge,easy to sharpen ,to be fair the guy was using it in one instance to dig some plant roots out,anyway thats about all I can recall.sorry I cant be more specific about the source.
 
Looks like they make some Ron Lake designed knives for AGRussell...
