hello folks!
this time i bring you a proyect based on a knife the guys (claudio and ariel) and i had designed a bit together, the black bull.
this time they told me they wanna make a couple of models with variations from the original. of course, i said: "i´m in !!!"
in this particular case, this is a more recurve version with hollow grind both on the principal edge as well as the large sharp clip.
this, kind of gives it the look of a dagger or a kukri as well.
but to make the proyect more interesting( one of the reasons why these guys have become one of the best, most innovators and prolifics knifemakers in the knifemaking scenario nowdays, as also two great guys), they told me they wanted to use O1 for the central layer and to forge it to aproximate shape, specially the tip.
instead of welding the package and then cut the shape of the knife. this way we would have a much better performance knife with the lamination following the shape of the blade.
now, the pictures!
