I am interested in the Stag handled folder seen here:

Does anyone have experience with this knife or this company? I saw the review of the tactical tanto in the recent edition of Tactical Knives, which sounded good, but before I spend the money, I would like to know what you guys and gals think. I can't see one at any of the local stores and would rather have an idea of what I am buying, before I get one from an internet store, find out I don't like it or it is not very well made and then have the hassle of returning it. Compare it to maybe Benchmade or Case quality. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Richard

I had one and sold it. The lockup is great and the knife has excellent fit and finish. It's a great deal for the money. ;)

Anthony, if I may ask, why did you sell the knife? From the website it mentions that the blade is 2 5/8” and the overall length is 7”, does this sound right from your memory? That is a lot of handle for that size blade, which is what I would like. Also how does the lock work? Do you move the thumb stud to release the lock? Was the handle comfortable? Thanks for any thoughts you may have.

Richard

I just wanted money for something else so I sold it. 2 5/8" probably refers to cutting edge. The actual blade length is more like 3 1/8". The handle is very comfortable and you do have to move the stud to close the blade.
