Does anyone else recieve this? I visited the case website for a customer service question and requested a copy of the 2007 catalogue.

It arrived today and is exciting. I have seen a few models and materials I was not aware are in production.

You owe it to yourself to get a copy. You can get it here:
www.wrcase.com

Examples of interesting knives:

6.5 bonestag bartender Knife

Brown Board Equestrian Knife

Tangerine Doc knife ( I have 11, one for each month. This could be October!)

Is anyone a member of the collector's club?
Is it worth the entry fee?

thanks for posting this. the bartender's knife is a must have for me.

Yes, the fee to join the club is worth it. You get a magazine once a quarter (I think) and you gain access to the Case Forum. I only visit this forum and the Case forum. Bladeforums is better if I had to choose, but the Case forum is helpful for those with a Case focus.

I must get that catalogue:thumbup:

What are the pictures of the knives like? actual photos or representations?

It's worth it. Been a Life member for a few years now. If you are interested in collecting Case knives, the forum is a great place to get info. Later, Bob

They are photos. There is also a number guide, date guide in the back.

Anyone know when the 2008 catalog comes out? Do they usually mix it up from year to year? Will there be a possibility of new patterns especially in CV?
Bill

From what I read in a catalog or on the web, Case hase something called a "vault pattern" that they are starting this year. Case is going to put a pattern in a vault for 5 years (I think) before they release it again. They are doing that to make them more collectable or allow the collectors to fill their spots. That might drive up the prices on some of them in the secondary market, but will it help the collector if they don't have it? I don't think so.
