It looks awesome...but how big is big? how about an in hand pic? I'm new to traditionals and compare everything to the Buck 300 line, is this bigger than the 301?
Thanks!
Russel

Yep, looks and feels like a serious worker :D:D, already put it to some "work" on a steak, and some patina started to show.
As with the compare pics, there you go. (don't mind the thinned edges on the 301)

Wow, that was quick. Thanks
And Wow! That is big. I'll have to put that one on my list...
Cheers!

And some more comparing pics, with all the traditional knives i have. Please excuse the poor photo quality.

Awesome knife! I have the same in the AmberBone w/CV. It is a beast of a knife. Somehow though, maybe its the bone scales or the shape of the frame itself, but it just rides well in my front Levi's pocket. Carried it yesterday in fact. Supersharp! Perfect when there's cuttin' to be done. Nice Purchase Jacktrades, everytime I think I'm done wanting a new cutter, one of you guy's come to show-n-tell with something shiney and new (or old) and I start looking at the toy budget and shakey math!!

Nice knife!

It seems about the same size as theBuck Wrangler, a really big stockman. The Case is the better looking knife though. Nothing like yella handles with well patined CV blades. Congratulations on a great knife.

Carl.

Thanks, i figure it will make a nice and useful camping/outdoor knife. I touched up a bit the edges, and it slices quite well for its size. Love the thin grinds case uses on their knives.

Thanks for the pictures, thats a nice looking knife. Bet it would make a good camp knife. Sometimes I want a larger Stockman and that might just be the ticket. :)

Thank you guys for the comparison pics, and the pic of that new, big Stockman. I like that size and design very well. I´m sure it feels good in hand. His little brother is one of my favorite EDC, though there´s some blade wobbling...

Kind regards
Andi

I had some play in mine as well, the clip point actually. With good advice from Steve, a member here, i managed to fix it in a few minutes. All it took were a couple of soft hammer blows on the bolster, knife closed and wrapped in a leather belt. The downside is the pin can be felt on one side of the bolster with my nails, but is negligible.
You could get more control with a vise though, as Steve suggested too. If you want to try it, just go slow, and check every time for progress.
Good thing the big one came solid as a rock though :D

I love that big sheepsfoot blade.

Anyone else think that taking out the main clip having and those sheepsfoot & spey blades on a slim single spring frame would be a cool knife?

Yep. The 75 and 92's are big knives. I like the feel of them in hand though.
If you want one in between the 18 and 75, you might take a look at the 47 series. IIRC, they are making those again in yeller and CV

WORD:thumbup::cool:

I'd like a Sheepfoot/Clip or Sheepfoot/Pen on a single spring for sure.

This CASE Stockman is the LARGE size and they're not exaggerating. It's a big 'un no shrinking violet. I don't carry my Amber Bone much unless in a coat pocket but I like the knife a lot and, it has no issues at all.

GREAT KNIFE!

The yellow delrin 75 is one of my all time FAVORITE patterns. I have about 6 in the cupboard.......I just cannot stop buying them!:)
