Case 6244 jack - rainy Monday

I have not given this one the love it deserves, so into my pocket it went this morning. Paul Hilborn graciously included it in a package of other knives I purchased from him back in October. To be honest, I have been sort of scared to use such a pristine 34 year old knife. Maybe I'll get over my reluctance and put it to use today.

It is dreary, rainy Monday, but that often makes for some good lighting for photos, so out to the bluebird house we went.

You may understand my reluctance to put the 6244 to use and alter its condition when you see its 1978 cousin, the 6344 stockman. I do not mind putting this one to use on just about any task for which a man may need a pocket knife.
