Case 6265sab question

can anyone tell me about this knife? It's a case 6265sab. The stamp has 4 dots under the usa mark. I can't find any info on models with 4 dots. I'd post pics but can't figure out how. I can email them them if it would help

If the tang stamp looks like:

CASE XX
U.S.A.
....

That would indicate 1976 as the year of production. If there's no 'SS' or 'STAINLESS' mark on any of the blade tangs, it would be in Case's carbon steel (non-stainless known as 'CV').

Here's an image from Case (link below the picture), of all the 1970s tang stamps; yours should look like the one labelled for 1976, based on your description.
