Case and custom knife maker Bill Ruple to collaborate.

Not that I will ever be able to afford one, but I'm wondering what patterns will be in the "historical "if ever" made by Case" category.
Off hand, I can't think of any once popular patterns that Case has not produced in their history.
I can think of a few currently popular patterns they  don't have in regular production: Everything "in the vault".
The Barlow, for example, which  is a popular pattern, and is a regular production pattern for pretty much all of their competitors  except Buck Knives ... Why Case gives their potential customers wanting a new Barlow  now to the competition for years on end ... is beyond me.

Will these mainly be a more costly version of the annual "vault release"?

afishhunter afishhunter agree about the Barlow, it's odd they're vaulted. However, Collabs have usually been 'revived' knives or more obscure patterns that have fallen out of the spotlight.

There's a rich seam, although 3 blade knives will be very costly to make but one can dream a bit.

Clasp Knife, Loomfixer either single or 2 blade, 2 blade Congress, Anglo-Saxon Whittler, Large Texas Jack, Swell End Jack, Large Penknife, Tadpole .

Right! I have a few Case Barlows, and they did a nice job on all of them. I'd like to see a two blade Barlow as the first collab. Maybe one close to the size of a GEC 77.
