anyone have experience with this knife/scale combo? looks sophisticated and gentlemanly to me and im interested in getting one. however th CV is the steel i like and the SS isnt ideal for me. so should i give in and get the SS or buy a yellow in CV and have it rehandled? is it worth the "hassle"?

I have one. Great knife! You can't tell it's in your pocket. Why don't you like the SS? The edge retention is very good and it isn't hard to sharpen at all.

chuck buck, I think you would be pleased with Case's SS it will serve you well... I haven't bought a USA made knife with any SS blade that would not get sharp and make a good pocket knife...

is the SS shiny? in the case picture it looks like you can see lower grit grind marks (which i like) but this is the same photo everywhere and most case knives ive seen in person are mirror polish (i dont like this). honestly, on this kind of not-so-hard-use knife that is my main concern. guess i could get it blasted to soften the look...

anyone have any pictures besides online knife store pics? thanks
