Case Bone Color ID Help!!

Caribbean Blue or was that more green?
Check that one already! Wayyy to blue... Last year's (I think) Mediterranean Blue is the closest thing I can find, but it's really not even close. This is going to drive me insane!! 🤪

I was gonna say "Carribbean Blue", which this is according to the box..

"MEDTR BLUE", at least on 10-07-15.
Sorry about that ... I "knew" it was some tropical holiday/tourist ('cept for the residents) place blue.

No two knives will be the same....the color can appear different due to dye lots, bone characteristics, the dyeing process and who was doing it at the time, how the handle was finished etc........so its blue.....could be one of several so unless you can track down exactly what Case called that color at the time, its just blue.....

Understood. I think it has to be the "Mediterranean Blue", but I do get what your saying! 👍🏻
Mediterranean Blue is a recent / current production color. I'm not sure it was used 10 years ago, especially when Case already had the Blue Lagoon handles at the time. Theres no reason to offer two different blue handles that are so close in color.....Then again, it could be the same color renamed to sell more knives to collectors.....

Don't know what yours is, but this is "Caribbean Blue". so it is not that.

Boy oh Boy would I ever love to get job of colour namer.....I may be suffering from Renovators Syndrom🥵

Might be their Blue Lagoon bone, based on the color, jigging style, and shield. If so it has one of the prettiest dye jobs for that handle I have seen.

I know they was using "Mediterranean Blue" Eight years ago.
It could be "Lagoon Blue" with a name change. "Lagoon" and "Mediterranean" bring different "mental" images ... with "medierranean" being a bit more pleasant. (more beaches and bikini clad hotties, anyway ...)
Box for knife in post 6. "Birthday" (or boxing day?) was/is 10-07-2015.

(Sorry. Scotch tape on the flap to prevent tearing affected the focus. ☹️)
