Do we have a list of the Bose designs that were produced, in either SS or CV? For example, not the collaborations like the Tribal Spear, but the designs, like the Backpocket. I would like to pick up a stockman that was released several years ago, I believe it was called the sowbelly. Thanks.

I think the TB6339 SS Sowbelly was introduced in 2001. I don't know if it was made in CV...doubt it.

...btw..I have one of those 2001 Case Select Sowbelly in smooth waterfall celluloid. I will shoot it and put some pix up. ;) It's really a well made knife.

The Case Tony Bose Sowbelly happens to be one of my favorites. They are all stainless, no CV versions. My sowbelly is the TB5339SS, I've also collected a few in various colors/styles of jigged bone (TB6339SS). There were some limited offerings in a 5-bladed version (jigged bone TB6539SS), stag (TB5539SS), and I've even got one (5-blade) in Abalone. The pattern number for that one escapes me, at the moment. I'll dig it out and check.

Guess I might dig 'em all out, and take some group pics. I've been wanting to do that, anyway. :p

According to the Case production checklist, there are no CV sowbellies. The pattern is in the Case Vault right now, so they're not making any and haven't since 7/1/2008 - might come back out later this year. You shouldn't have any problems finding some though. Of possible interest is there are also single blade (6139) and five blade (6539) versions along with the standard three blade version (6339).

Edit: Gah! Ninja'd by Dave.

BTW, when they released the Cheetah from the vault this month they added a yellow CV version. Perhaps we'll all get lucky and they'll do that with the Sowbelly.
