Here is a good ole Case bowie that I've had for a while
The previous owner stored it in very poor conditions, and the blade, while SS, shows some pitting.
I figured that it would never be a wall hanger, so I sharpened it and used it to cut a few things.
The sheath is non Case, and shows signs of poor storage, but it is sturdy and serviceable. (I'm not sure Case sold these with a sheath to begin with.)
Just the cure for things that go bump in the night.
