Case Burnt Moss Collection

Those were originally called "Worm Groove Moss Brown" when they were released, seems like a year or more ago. I don't think they were a big hit and may not still be in production in that handle material but some dealers may still have some in stock.

Yea I saw that one (and almost bought it) but I decided to wait to see if I could find a normal one instead of a special edition one.

Hey guys!!! I finally found it!!! I placed my order last night. I just hope this is a good company to work with; I've never heard of them. I'm not really sure why they named it "Moss Brown" instead of "Burnt Moss" but the pictures are the same.

Well I got my pocketknife and I'm a little disappointed.

The main clip blade is "stiff". I'm not sure if it is because the nail nick is further back on the blade (less leverage) or because it actually is stiff.

I'm going to let my nail "heal" and try again later. Is there anything you can do to soften a spring?

First, flush out the joint with soapy hot water and an old toothbrush, followed by a thorough drying. Then a drop of oil on the joint, and using a towel to prevent cuts, work the blade open and closed about a hundred times. It should be better, but if still stiff, open it 3/4 of the way so that the maximum amount of backspring is showing and leave it that way for a couple days. This will soften the spring somewhat and make it lighter.
