This weekend I treated myself to a nice knife for my Birthday, a Case Cheetah Cub. I paid more than if I found it online but I got to pick out one that was perfect (smooth opening, tight lock-up, matched scales, blade centered, even grind lines). It's got red pocket worn bone scales and a Tru-Sharp blade (obviously). It came very sharp. I had a German made swing guard years ago but it never grew on me for some reason. This little guy is already growing on me. It carries like a feather. I haven't had a chance to take any pics or put it through its paces. But I'm impressed by the way this thing is put together. Also, I got to support an American company and a local brick & mortar shop. It was a pretty good weekend.

Congrats on the new knife..,
Thats great you have a local store that stocks em.

I have bought quite a few Cheetah Cubs over the last year and all have been excellent in the F/F department. Great little conversation starters too, everyone that see it wants to know about it.

Happy Birthday Frank!

Pics?
