I just placed an order for one of these knives. I got one with the longtail CASE and in antique bone. I've had a couple of the Case whittler's in the past, but never even held, or seen a Cigar Whittler. What got me on it was the 4.5" closed length as I like a heavier knife and this would he larger than the standard 3.5" whittler pattern I've had. I'm not a slipjoint collector so I'm sorry if this post sorta sounds disjointed, but what I really would like is to hear from anyone who has this particular pattern, and what your thoughts are.:)

Here's a picture of it.

I don't have one.... but I really like it! A larger handle is almost always better for whittling. IMO

Thanks for the replies guy's. Anyone actually have and carry one? I plan for this to be my secondary left pocket knife, and the knife that will probably end up doing 99% of what I need a knife to do.

Brought this one back up because I am confused, actually nothing new there. The knife I purchased is number CA92126. This is not the pattern number though. There is also another cigar whittler numbered 22126, but for the life of me I can not tell any difference. Does anyone know? Btw the pattern number for the CA22126 is 6391WHSS. Can't find a pattern number on the CA92126.

The actual pattern number of the knife in the OP is "6391WH SS". "92126" is the Shepherd Hills item number for that knife.

Got the Case on Saturday. My first response was that it was lighter in weight than what I expected, as I had expected it to be fairly hefty for its length. But everything about it after that first response was absolutely positive. Fit and finish was extremely good with the main blade being centered when closed (pet peeve). The antique bone was nicely done and really looks great in person. This is one of the sharpest knives out of the box I've ever gotten! I've had more expensive, super steels, customs, and all three blades on this Case were sharper than those just mentioned. Every Case I've gotten over the past 5 to 7 years has come fairly sharp, but usually a little ragged, not this one. The main blade sliced through newsprint like a laser, while both smaller blades are like scapels, I kid you not!

So, guess you could say I'm happy with it. Just one question. It is a 1st production version, bolster is stamped saying so, but I am planning on carrying and using. Almost 100% of the work I need a knife to do amounts to cutting paper, string, some card stock/cardboard, and to sharpen a few pencils. I know that once carried the MINT CONDITION is no longer, but should I even worry about this? I did not purchase this knife for resale latter hoping it would go up in value, but rather because I like the pattern, and want to use it. So, what do you think?
