This is a knife I got from a friend a few years ago. I have never carried or used it for fear of losing or damaging it
Case XX which I believe is from before 1945.
Anyone else have this model?

Sort of fuzzy in the pic, but that tang stamp would date the knife in the 1920-1940 time frame ('TESTED XX' era), if it does indeed look like this stamp below:
