case cm154 knives?

Does anybody have any experience with the Case cm 154 knives? Or the Tony Bose Case's with BG-42?


I'm not a fan of Case in other steels, but I am a 154 fan. Curious to know whether they're likely to be something I'd want.

The Case is too pricey for me to try. But I've read several positive comments about them and no negatives.

I have tried Canal Street's "half Moon single blade trapper" in 14-4CrMo. This alloy is from Latrobe Steel and is Latrobe's version of 154CM. Affordable, well built, and the steel performs very similarly to 154CM (It should, it's the same composition.)
