I hear a lot of folks talking their love about Peanuts and Texas Jacks, but rarely do I hear anyone say anything about the Case Coke Bottle or Swell Center Jacks. To me it is the perfect compromise. You get a slightly longer handle than the peanut, but all of the pocketablity of the peanut and larger blades, almost as big as the Texas Jack.

It has all the benefits of both, but none of the negatives. It has a larger handle than the tiny peanut, and the almost as large of blades of a Texas Jack without the large hande. It has a better blade to handle ratio than the Texas Jack. What else could you ask for.?

Check it out. I have all three. Greatly prefer the Coke Bottle Jack. Small like the peanut. Big cutter/usability, like the Texas Jack.

They are kind of rare rare though. You will not be disappointed with this pattern, if you are a Peanut or Texas Jack lover.

Thanks for your "heads up" on this one. I had this pattern on my radar screen a few months ago, but never pulled the trigger ..... I may have to reconsider! ;)

I have 3 examples of this pattern. I'm really found of these. I carry the derlin handled one from time to time.

S&M have two 3 1/2" Coke Bottles
The 2009 Series with a spear blade and the 2010 Series with a clip blade

I have one medium Case coke bottle. I like the design and size a lot... I just had the bad luck to get one with poor F&F (Scratches on the bone, proud springs). Exchanged it for another at the place I got it from, and it was, if anything, worse. Grr. Plus they don't seem to make it in CV, only SS. Still sees some pocket time, though.

I like them all, and also consider the _2087 Jack
which falls between the coke jack and texas jack.
