Well, here is my tribal spear. Love it other than coming to me dirty dull.

Also, I lost my old Case Collab Dogleg about 2 weeks ago. I was very sad. I had looked around online a while ago because I wanted a 2nd one as a backup. I didn't have any luck. See them on the bay occasionally, but for a lot of money. So low and behold I decided to google them again and on the very last google results page, I found a knife dealer in georgia who had a picture of one for sale. I emailed him, he said they didn't make them anymore (as if I didn't know that) and he was sorry. 10 minutes later he emailed me again and said he found one in his back room....and I bought it for its original retail price :)

Also figured I'd get a shot with the CottonSampler.

Finally, Scott Gossman sent me this mammoth chopper mid week and thought I'd take a pic of it with the zulu spear. I'm going to use it in the woods in lieu of a hatchet....plus it's just really, really big and fun to chop stuff with!!

Nice trio, Campbell. I'm really fond of the "antique" bone on my own tribal spear. I also have the dogleg with those scales. A real favorite. Glad you got a hold of another one.

(The muskrat and whittler I had with the antique bone ended up with a couple of makers in TX and OK. Go figure. Guess it speaks to the quality of these collaborations.)

Wow. That is a beautiful knife , my favorite style with a single blade.

Nice score

Very nice. I only have the Dogleg in the same handle material, but really like that Tribal Spear model. Nice trio.

Campbell, after buying the dogleg NIB from the backroom, how much $$$ did you have left to buy lotto tickets with?!?

Seriously, though, it's nice to see good things happen to good people. Congrats!

All the scales are matched well. In my experience with these collab knives, the antique bone jigging and coloring has only become better as the series progresses. I've seen several examples of the ones with this bone and the bone on the newer patterns are more to my liking.

Campbell, I love the scales on my Case/Bose Dogleg Jack. they look great!! If there better looking on the Tribal Spear, I'll have to get one of those!! Thanks for the info!! That Cotton Sampler looks awful good as well!!!! Thanks again.
