A good while back I discovered the Case Collectors Club and became a member and purchased a few knives over the years when patterns I fancied came up..

Back in 2003 I got both my kids(7 and 8 at the time) interested and had them join as junior members in the CCC as well. And since kids are free and it was an good opportunity for them to learn about traditional knives along with my teachings I was pleased to share the experience with them. These are the first CCC knives we purchased together..

I was just wondering if any other forumites collected and or used these CCC knives as well?. And if so, perhaps would like to show and tell here a bit?

I've never had any of the CCC knives.. I'm liking the idea of this thread though.
Hopefully once it takes off, those of us that aren't members, will get to see some knives that we probably haven't seen before.
BTW, nice samples in your pic...

Dang Sunnyd you have just opened my eyes. I hate to admit this but I didn't even know what CCC meant. So Noooooow I know. No I don't collect them but now that I know what they are they look pretty darn cool. Wow I just went back and checked out those 1/2 congress folders. Those are really nice.

Thanks for the comments Mike and Jim...

Its actually pretty a pretty cool little club. One example, is that my kids used to get a lot of goodies for free from W.R. Case for just being Junior Members. The newsletters were one item we(kids & I) always looked forward to when every issue arrived. They had some really good articles written in them. I was especially fond of the Case Historian contributions that were written in them. I will try and dig up some of my older media to see what I still have to share here that may be of interest....

... I remember back around 4 or 5 years ago when I still had some of the CCC knives on display and other Special Case Knife displays that I had hanging on the walls of my study.. My kids and I always did a lot of story book reading with one another back then. I would and they(my son & daughter) would read back and fourth to one another right before bed-time,, and I would sometimes wager them small amounts of money to see which of the two of them where better at naming the "PATTERN" slipjoint names that hung in the displays.. Its funny now that I think back on it, because to this day they can name most of them right off the top of their heads when they see 'em.. I wonder how many of their class-mates could do that?!?. :D.. Although this is not a Case Collector Club knife display but rather just a LE Bone Stag display, here is one of the display's that they PATTERN NAME trained on.. :) ..

Huh.. I would have thought some others in Trad would have had a few of these CCC's to share with us here. Perhaps if I bump it up with this Copperhead in smooth Red bone it may bring some folks to go and clean out the knife drawers .. :)

Whoa! Blast from the past!
I never did follow up with pics of my CCC knives.
Could be an interesting thread after all!

I love that smooth red bone copperhead. But, I don't have a single CCC knife to my name.

Thanks for showing us yours.
