Case Collectors

Hello and welcome to the forums. I don't how you feel about the "modern" slipjoint knives. Slip joint knives that utilize modern steel and sometimes modern handle materials. Check out CK.

I have more Case than any other brand. GEC are nice but at this point in the game unless you like waiting years for the possibility of a pattern or configuration you want to come around then chasing after stupid drops or paying 3-5x the original price on the aftermarket, they're not worth the trouble to me.

Let's move this to the Traditional Forum instead of in General. Lots of Case lovers there.

Personally, I have about a dozen or so Case knives. Some of them are easily equal to GEC in build and finish. All of them are worth what I paid for them. They get carried on occasion.

;) 👍🏻

I hate to do this to you my friend, but try a GEC or Great Eastern Cutlery.

I'm sorry.

I’ll have to get a couple. I’m one of those guys who can’t just buy one.
Good luck. Some releases sell out in under 3 minutes, according to what some here are saying in the "LETS TALK GEC" thread.
You might find one in the Marketplace here, for a descent price.
ePrey and the All About ... site generally has some ... at highly inflated prices.

GEC does make a good knife. There is no question about that. Unfortunately, they don't make enough during any one run to meet demand, unless it is a Forum Knife.
