This is my only Case knife. I've owned it since 2008. Absolutlely love it! Stainless blades, African ebony wood scales, and brass pins. Suede lined, leather pouch with elephant hide trim.

Where did you come by that? I've never seen one with ebony covers. It really looks sweet. Did the pouch come with it? Was it customized or modified for you? Or a factory SFO?

Ed,

I purchased it from (removed non BF dealer member name). 100% Case made, limited to 500 pieces. The F&F is simply outstanding. I made the pouch.

Thanks for the comments!

That looks like a Gentleman Adventurer's knife if I ever saw one. :)

Thanks, comoha. I guess it does have a "Hemingway" look to it. It's only 3 7/8" closed, so it would have to be a small adventure. :D

A gentleman can do very big things with a small knife.
That is one gorgeous Copperhead.

Thanks Mack and bass. I really like the Bowie clip and deep hollow grinds. All around great job by Case.

Beautiful knife!

Makes me think of a camp on the african velt, sun going down, the scent of gun oil as the Westly Richards double rifle is wiped down, reaming the bowl of a nice Dunhill bent bulldog with the pen blade, then the smell of good English blend of Dunhill 965 on the evening air. The taste of a good scotch as the next days hunt is planed. Going to bed on the cot in the tent, and the growl of a leopard hunting in the night.

What can I say? I have a active imagination.

Carl.

What can I say, Carl? You accurately envisioned and described what I was attempting to portray in the photos.
