I picked this up recently on the exchange from Durbin. I've not seen many CV Case copperheads. Durbin mentioned this one was a special factory order. Does anyone have any more info on this one? Sorry about the bad pics...I didn't have my camera.

I've got one (also from 2005) that I purchased from a fellow forumite. Mine is closer to (but a bit redder than) the chestnut bone color.

I believe I've seen them listed online (in the past) on vintageknives.com

I don't know if they were behind the SFO or not. I like mine quite a bit.

Thanks for the info. I posted this in general and meant to put in the tradition forum. I haven't even been drinking.

No problem. Easily resolved.

I read somewhere that it was an SFO that was limited to 500 pcs......
Gotta love those Copperheads :D

Nice knife!

Vintage Knives had the CV Copperheads in both honey brown bone and chestnut bone. Yours looks like the honey brown. I don't know if there were any other variations at the time.

I got one in chestnut bone and I like it a lot. It was my EDC for awhile. It's a great pattern and nice to have in CV. :)

I've got one in the chestnut bone, which I got from Vintage Knives. Great pattern. Similar to the classic 6292 in size and blade configuation, but the round bolsters make it ride more comfortably in the pocket.

Good score!
