Case cv yellow stockman question

I just noticed my stockmans small spey blade has a relief cut out and the other two blades don't is this normal or is it a defect?

That could be a swedge to make it fit better with the other blades in the handle. Can you show a photo please?

I don't know how to post photos I've tried before but they just wouldnt load and be visible

I'm looking at my CV and other Stockman's now, and I don't know what you're speaking of...a picture would help.

To be more specific it's the little notch at the back of the blade so you can sharpen the full blade and not sharpen the heel

No just my spey blade has the notch

Seems like a choil. The notch between the sharp edge of the blade and the tang. PM or email me if you'd like help posting a photo.
