Hi All,
I am pretty new to traditional folders. I have been into tactical folders for as long as I can remember, but have recently become very attracted to slipjoints, etc.
My question is: is the Case Damascus any good? I am a big fan of damascus, but have no experience with it in a slippie.

Thank you,
Brett

bdws1975,

On Cases's web site they talk about the damascus being from Devin Thomas who you will find is very good at making damascus. I have and have had several of his steels and I was more than impressed.

hey,
thanks for your info. I thought they looked great but was wary of buying before i asked.

Thanks again,
Brett

The Case damascus knives I've seen have nice damascus patterns, are artisticly etched and look good. If the damascus is made by Devin Thomas you can be sure the steel will give you good performance.

I have the Damascus Peanut and the Stockman. The Damascus is very nice, which I would expect from Devin Thomas. Both knives have great fit and finish. The Peanut has half stops, the Stockman doesn't. Which I did find a bit odd...oh well. I wouldn't hesitate to get another.
