They're not currently doing factory tours according to their FAQ: http://www.wrcase.com/support/faq/

The Case/Zippo Museum and retail store is still open. A few years ago, I stopped during a move (uhaul in tow) and I enjoyed my visit. The museum is nice and the folks in the retail store were friendly.

I'd definitely stop by if you're going to be nearby.

Theres a Youtube video with a factory tour....

Cory's review is a little rough. It is a museum/store so it is going to be different than a factory visit. There's quite a bit of history in the museum in my opinion. There could be more, but Parker sold some of the factory collection to his brother when he led the company into bankruptcy. There are some neat oldies. The front is a retail store. The staff was very friendly and gave me all sorts of freebies to commemorate my visit. I also bought some knives.

There's a nice book called First 100 Years: A Pictorial and Historical Review Of W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery that has a lot of nice photos. I'd highly recommend finding a copy if you are a Case fan.

Queen is also doing factory tours and located in the same city as GEC. I'd imagine that factory tours are a little disruptive to production but it's great that GEC and Queen are willing to do them.

I'd definitely say it's worth it if you're in the area. I was rough on them. That was mostly because it wasn't what I was expecting. Still worth it to do it once, though. They have the largest knife store I've ever seen, so that alone is really cool. I'm a big Zippo fan as well, and it was neat to see some of the Zippo stuff as well.

If you're that close I'd definitely swing through Titusville. GEC will give you a factory tour that'll blow your mind. Queen only does the tours during their Historical Society Gathering, so you won't be able to tour their factory but you will be able to go into their factory store and they have some cool historic stuff in there.

If you had to choose I'd go with Titusville over Bradford, but the Case museum was still better than anything I have within 800 miles of my house. ;)

I would love to go, I am going to plan for a visit to the GEC/Queen rendezvous next year, what's a two hour drive to Case?

It really is a lovely drive, too. You're in the Allegheny National Forest for most of the trip and you get some really neat views of the lake where they dammed the river. It's beautiful country around there.

wow. Thanks guys that store/museum looks cool as heck. I actually just did a gec tour a couple weeks ago. Im on a roadtrip with my girlfriend and we were pressed for time and i was only allowed to pick one. Im hoping on our way back i can comvince her to stop by case

Heres my haul from gec if anyones interested. The book is really great, and that coyote has been building up a nice patina on kitchen duty while on our trip

We stopped by too on our way to the Rendevous...It is a museum. The photos do it justice...The Zippo car is parked outside at the moment.
The ladies in the retail are very polite, courteous and helpful. Enjoyed it! Purchased a knife and Zippo for my son, with his fav Football team Logo.
Titusville was better.
