That's likely normal. The fixed blades from Case frequently haven't been 'named' with a pattern # (or marked as such), like Case's folders. Among collectors of these knives, the shape of the blade is usually the main identifier. If you'd like some help identifying your knives, some pics posted here would be a big plus. A photo-hosting site, such as photobucket, is usually the easiest way to do that. Also include dimensions (blade length, overall length, etc.). Close-ups of the tang stamps would aid in narrowing down the age, at least somewhat.
