Case folder needs work

I bought a Case 6172 clasp folder on Ebay and the seller was less than honest on his describtion of it's faults. Since he has a no return policy and as is, I doubt he'll take it back. Does anyone on here do any restoration work or know someone that does? As far as sending it back to Case, forget it. I tried that with 2 other knives and they sent them back stating they couldn't help me! Thank you in advance!!
 
were the other two rare or out of production? I ask because Case has really good customer service.
Whats the problem with the Clasp? There are a few guys on here that work on slipjoints, bill deshivs does i believe...
I think Case still produces this pattern so ya might try contacting them if for no other reason than to rule them out in regards to getting it right.
