Well, I just received my brand new Case Folding Hunter and I'm really pleased with it! I bought this pocketknife for the express reason of dressing whitetail deer.

One of the reason people love Case pocketknives so much is because each pocketknife is different. A different shield here, a different handle there, etc. Unfortunately, that also apparently means this model of folding hunter is the only one that doesn't include a pouch (I mean really, who knew? lol!). So, can someone help me figure out what pouch is designed to go with this pocketknife so I can purchase it?

I'm posting some pictures for your comparison in case you want to purchase one yourself. One knife is a Buck 110 (tip broken and filed) and a Case Wharncliffe Mini Trapper.

Wow, I knew the Case Folding Hunter was a big knife but I didn't realize it was bigger than a 110.

I just found a few Folding Hunter sheaths online by doing a search for "case folder hunter sheath". They are reasonably priced.

Wait. Should I buy a factory pouch? I'm reading reviews that they don't fit properly.

I know you can get custom pouches made but I wouldn't know where to begin.

My Case Folding Hunter came with a Case large leather sheath; the knife will rattle somewhat in the pouch. Check out Makael on the Buck Sub-Forum - he makes some very nice custom leather sheaths. OH

I have a Case folding hunter. I like the fact that it has two blades. If you you are skinning multiple deer that second blade comes in handy. The sheath mine came with fits fine. I would rather my knife fit a little loosely than to tight. The sheath for my trapper is a little snug and the knife is sometimes hard to remove.
