How are three different sellers selling the exact same Case Knife (Number 1 of 500)

There all selling it right now on eBay. How can there be 3 number (#1) of the collection if case only made 500

Every knife had the same etch. They aren't serialized they all say 1 of

ok..... I see, the etch is just saying this is 1 of 500 made.

Yeah it's something several companies do. It's easier than marking each knife individually.

Dislike when companies do this, it is too easy to misinform potential buyers, because everyone would want the "first of 500".
