Call me strange, but I really like Case's key lime, burnt green lizard, etc... You know, all the really unnatural green colors. But I can't seem to find any in CV, do they only come in stainless?
I'd love a key lime Peanut, but I'd rather it be CV than stainless.

I'm certain that all of the "out of the ordinary colored" knives, only come in Tru Sharp SS. You are limited to choices with CV. Case has been listening though, and continue to add knives with CV

I have an interesting Case whittler that is carbon steel with beautiful green bone scales. I don't know much about it though, only that it's definitely out of production, made in the 1990s IIRC.

That seems to be the way Case does it, most of the cool scales are only in stainless. I'd love a regal stag knife in CV.

Ooh, I'd love to see some pics of that one, the whittler is another one I need to add to my collection.

Thanks for the info guys, I was really hoping to try my first cv in a flashy color :(

How about the Sambar Stag CV line? I think I came across something like that. Correct me if I am wrong please.

Chestnut bone,Red bone, and Stag/Stag bone are the only ones That I am aware of.I also wish some of the flashier colored handled knives came in CV too.But then again,my wallet would never forgive me.

I was wondering the same thing and had not looked it up yet. I have my eye on a Case two blade hunter in green.

I've not seen any green Case knives in CV, and I've done some digging.

I wonder if there's a way to get a CV yellow synthetic and just swap the blades into the same model but with the scales you wanted...

Not sure how much "work" you're willing to put into getting a green Case knife with CV steel, but here's a possibility: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/849755-Removing-dye-from-bone-or-redyeing ..... get yourself a CV knife and try dyeing the scales!
Hehe yes I was reading that thread earlier, I think I may get some RRs in bone to test on first. Rit does have a lime green dye, I wonder how close I can get to that color if I start with a lighter colored bone.
