Case handle question

A few years ago, Case offered a handle material that I can't remember the name of? It was some type of wood or laminate that was used in countertops (I think) in the 1960s and 1970s and Case revived or used it a few years ago as a handle. I was interested at the time and never bought one and I can't remember the name of it to look up. Thanks in advance!

When I hear 'wood or laminate' in reference to Case's knives, I always think of their Stamina Wood handles on patterns like the Folding Hunter and a few others. I suspect this may not be what you're thinking of though. Case has used that material for decades - it's a multi-layer wood laminate impregnated with resin to stablilize it. Very durable stuff. As for countertops, I've never heard of Stamina Wood being used for that.

A material called 'corian' was used for countertops, and I think some brands of knives might've used it for handles. Don't know if Case ever did though.
