Does anyone know the difference between Case's POCKET WORN OLD RED BONE and Dark red bone as far as color differences? Pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

To be honest, you'll be lucky if your dark red bone Case has even moderately red color. The one that I had (and promptly returned) was more a pinkish salmon. Picture here. Other pictures I've seen of actual knives (not stock photos) are usually fairly pale too.

As for the pocket worn, the few pictures I've seen have been better (deeper, more uniform) than the "dark red", but that's really no guarantee either. Your best bet would be to only buy if you can handle it in person, or get pictures of the actual knife if you're buying it online. If you poke around the auction sites, you can see some examples of actual knives (not stock photos).

Or you can go vintage (from the 60's or 70's) and find red bone that ranges from flame colored to dark blood colored.

Alright thanks for all the info.
