Up for sale, a Case Humpback whittler in polished black G10 from '09 (1st production year), and a rare vintage Buck 506/Lady Buck/White Knight from the late '70s in Westinghouse ivory Micarta.
The Case is near mint. 3-5/8" closed. Tru-Sharp stainless blades with crisp as-ground finish. It's in unused condition, but I dropped it in my pocket one or two times at most. Original very sharp factory edges. Strong snap and no blade rubbing. The blades have a few superficial handling marks - it came that way from the factory. With original box and paperwork - $40 shipped SOLD.
The tiny Buck 506 was purchased new by me and given to my wife, who carried it in her purse for a while, but never actually used it. The Micarta has aged beautifully, but the steel bolsters are lightly and evenly skuffed (think purse detritus stonewash
). The blade looks new, and I'm pretty sure it has its original factory edge, but it's not particularly keen. 2-3/4" closed. Snaps open and closed and locks up tightly with no blade play. The blade is off-center when closed, but doesn't rub the frame. Have Buck polish the bolsters and it's a like-new 30+ year old collectable, or drop in your pocket as a discrete super-lightweight gent's knife. No box or paperwork - $40 shipped SOLD . No PayPal fees. Shipped USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation. No trades, please. ConUS only.
(Note light handling marks on the Case blades)
Thanks for looking!
