Ok, I'm looking to buy a new Case knife. I'm Thinking about the Barehead Slimline, Sod Buster, Large Stockman. Although id REALLY like to know about the Slimline, Thanks :]

I've got a CV red bone slimline trapper, it's a great knife. It's really light and the blade is long enough for anything a folder should have to handle. It's a thin and narrow knife, so the handle might take some getting used to if you've got big hands.

I've got no experience with Case's full size sodbuster, but my soddie juniors are great working knives, especially the CV one. Amazing knives for the money.

A large stockman in stag bone was my first Case knife, it's a lot bulkier than the sodbuster jr or slimline trapper, but it's got three blades and its size makes it quite comfortable to handle. The sheepfoot blade sits a bit too high in the closed position for my liking, so I filed the kick down (do it slowly, you don't want to file too much!).

I have all three...lol...it really depends on what you want in a blade. I own several of the slimline trappers, the Case is available in the Yellow with the CV (Chrome Vanadium) blade which is my preference. The blade is long, slender and cuts well. The Sod Buster on the other hand is a big knife, as you can see in the pic it dwarfs the Trapper. The blade is heavy and very stout, handles heavy cutting jobs like most knives handle butter. It is probably my second favorite slip joint (the barlow pattern will always be number one for me)

Of the three listed in OP:
Case , yellow handled, chrome vanadium (CV) Barehaead Slimline Trapper.

I am 53, and all my life this Slimline Trapper and the Case Peanut, also with CV , have been "my" knives.

Slimline pocket carries easy, is light, and is a proven workhorse by me, ranchers, farmers, timber folks and countless others.

Stockman is no longer made in YH with CV, it is a big knife and heavy.
Boker , MooreMaker and Hen&Rooster do still offer this 4" plus knife in Carbon steel.

Sodbuster, as the picture shows in comparison to the Slimline Trapper is big.
Sodbuster Jr, on the other hand is easier to pocket carry and will fool one as to how that knife carries so well
Again, I recommend the YH, with CV blades for the Sodbuster Jr.

I have nothing against other patterns, just for me, a Peanut and Slimline Trapper covers everything I need to do.

I have used these for weeks on end in the Wilderness such as in Canada, and canoeing and portaging, survival classes for a few days, to weeks, hunting, fishing, and down on the property doing farm, and ranch duties.

Slimline will handle whatever task needs doing.

SM posts here, too? Sick. We're all saved.
(Hi from CZ.22 over at THR!)
Can't find any large stockmans over at eknifeworks.com, that's my go-to site.
The Barehead Slimline is an excellent choice for an EDC trad. Slim and light, rides nice in the pocket.

Here's one in brown with stainless: http://eknifeworks.com/webapp/eComm...t=&Mode=Brand&PriceStart=&Brand=23&SKU=CA6148
The Sodbuster is a large knife, close in size to the Buck 110:

The Sod Buster Jr. is closer in size to the Barehead Slimline, and very practical:
