Hi, long time knife addict, first post. I was wondering if you fine gents/Ladies could provide me some information. I am trying to find out what all patterns from case came with the scissors? I know the peanut/big nut, pen, and stockman all had a pattern with scissors in the late 90's/2000's, but are there anymore? coming up empty handed on google. I know I need to get the case bible ;)

Yes as you indicates, Case reintroduced the scissors blade to their product line in the mid 1990's after Zippo bought Case. They have used it in the 087 jack pattern, the 20 peanut pattern, and the 33 pen pattern.

Prior to that, Case's last use of the scissors blade was in the 1970's. They made the M279 SCIS SS, the 8364 SCIS SS, and the FLY FISHERMAN all with scissors. These patterns however were all discontinued by 1975. There were no other Case patterns made with scissors, except possibly in the years prior to WWII.

I'll leave the fun of discovering details to you, but a quick glance at my Case book here tells me that both pattern 64 and pattern 79 had variations that featured scissors.

And the good ol Fly Fisherman pattern has scissors as well.

Thanks fellas! That's a good place for me start! I don't know why, but I suddenly had an urge to start collecting the scissor case knives. Momma's gonna kill me lol...
