I apologize if this isn't the right place to post this.

My great-uncle has been collecting knives for a very long time. He is trying to get his estate in order. He has a number of Case knives. What (or who) would be the best source to get the estimated value of his knives? (I have pictures of them.)
Thanks in advance.

CASE knife are generally considered about the most collectible of all factory made knives. Some of the reasons is they are well made and easy to date. There are a number of "experts" and "buyers" that I'm sure would advise you on your Cases, but if it were me I'd go to Barnes & Noble and buy a good knife reference book. ONe of the better one for CASE is Sagent's "American Premium Guide to Knives and Razors. It lists most CASE knives over the last 100 years and gives realistic values. After matching up what you've got to the descriptions and values in the book, you are then ready to consider selling knives. You could list them on eBay or the Knives For Sale section of this Forum. If your knives are CASE XX or Tested XX, they can be worth HUNDREDS each, so do you research. Hope this helps you.
