Case loom fixer with bail

Hi I came across this 1970. 10 dot loom fixer. I have never seen one with a bail. Anyone ever seen one like it? I feel strongly that was worth the five dollars I paid for it. Razor sharp, snaps open and close like a bear trap. Nice where on one side with the old time I held his thumb. Guy said it was his dad’s knife, I can’t believe he wanted to get rid of it

Usually 2 blade Loom Fixers have no bail, but the single blade rope knife had one. Sounds like a mix between the 2? I’d also like to see a picture

Yes it is. 6217 R (R being Case code for Bail) most likely a factory SFO. Check out Pfeiffer's Case Book pg 116.

I had one myself but sold it off a year or so ago.
