Case Mako or Hammerhead

I have had both of those models many years ago, and I do not think they had a bushing. I base this guess, on the fact that if they did, they would have probably advertised this as a special feature of the knife, and that the ones I had would have not had all of he blade play they had.
 
The only way someone would ever know is if they had disassembled one, or worked in the Case factory. You stand a much better chance of getting an answer to this type of question in the Maintenance and Tinkering sub forum...
