I've been a big Buck 110 fan for a long time, but I came across the Case Mako on sale with red G-10 scales, and just couldn't pass it up. I've never really considered them before but I'm a sucker for a really good deal.

It's about 3/4 the size of a 110 and significantly thinner. It came very sharp, and with a nice leather belt sheath. I think this is gonna make a really good EDC because of the smaller size, and less weight than the 110. :)

I prefer larger and heavier myself. Small to me is 3.75 blade. Buck 110 is small to me, although it weighs a lot for its size. I only have one, a switch blade conversion, and it does not leave the house, mainly because it has no clip. And I harbor a tremendous dislike for sheaths.

I would never consider anything smaller than a 110 useful, but whatever winds your clock.

Anyhow, what does it look like, I do like red knives for display only. If you use a red handled knife with dirty hands, what ya gonna do with the mess that results?

The Mako is a great blade. I have 6 of them, one user and the others collectors. I collect the Shark series from Case. The Mako is great folder. There is no telling how many deer my dad has skinned with his. The also have pretty good steel in them.
