They are two different animals. That said, I only have three 34OT's, but a pile of scouts and pioneers/soldiers. But, I started buying scout patterns first.

Oh well, put me down for a tie.

Stockman patterns have their purpose. Scout patterns have theirs.

I vote for the 34OT for less bulk in pocket,but then removing a layer helps thin a scout out.(it had a broken spring)

Interesting. I've never had a 34OT, so I can't speak to them. However, I love scout knives and have given away many to people who also love them. I vote ignorance. Haha.

I have 6 that I would consider to be a scout / utility knife. I also have two 340 OT. They are two very different knife styles. That being said, I would prefer to carry the OT 340.
