Case medium stockman with bonestag and CV?

I have the large stockman with CV blades and bonestag handles. I am bout 95 percent sure they make the smaller stockman too.

I hope this is not a duplicate post, but, I do not believe that this is a current production item. there are still NIB product out in the retail world, but Case is not building them any longer.

That's an admirable knife there:thumbup:

Normally, I'm not a fan of big knives but that behemoth has turned my head:D

Thanks for showing it, any patina on those big blades yet? That Bonestag is a nice scale, WHY did CASE go and discontinue it!

No patina yet. I haven't had it that long and it is my weekend knife that I carry. Honestly, I have so many slippies that I rotate out it might take a while to patina.

I favor USA Schrades and Cases but I seem to be able to get scary sharp edges on the Cases. I can get great edges on the Schrades too but I would have to give the not to the Cases that I have, especially this CV bladed stockman.

It's a bit heavy in the pocket but not too bad. I have large hands so I prefer the larger stockmans. I am thinking about an amber bone medium stockman to add to the collection in 09. I have about bought up all the Schrades that I always wanted but one or two still catch my eye and get bought.

I wish Case would make an amber bone whittler in CV. Love the whittlers. And as I understand it, the Bonestag hasn't bee discontinued for that long so you can still find them on the bay.
